On 1 August, KIS, Noida (IB & Cambridge), hosted an insightful Faculty-led Mental Health Masterclass in collaboration with FLAME University Pune, for Cambridge students from Grades AS, A Level, and IBDP-1. We were privileged to welcome Moitrayee Das, Assistant Professor at FLAME University, as the distinguished speaker. The masterclass aimed to raise awareness about mental health challenges faced by Generation Z, with a particular focus on anxiety and healthy coping strategies. During the session, Prof. Moitrayee Das discussed the reasons behind Gen Z’s openness about mental health.

The five-day Summer School recently held at Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME), attended by Cambridge A Level students, KIS (IB & Cambridge), was truly an enriching and well-structured experience that combined academic learning with practical exposure. Each day focused on a unique theme ranging from Financial literacy, Photoshoot workshops to management insights, emotional intelligence and cybersecurity. These sessions were delivered by expert lecturers through interactive sessions and hands-on activities. Overall, this Summer program not only enhanced creative and analytical abilities among the students.

This 79th Independence Day, students from Cambridge Grade 4 to IGCSE‑1 crafted vibrant tricolour decorations—with lush saffron, crisp white, and verdant green petals, crowned by the symbolic Ashoka Chakra. These floral creations not only infused the space with colour and joy, but also embodied values like courage, peace, and growth. Through their hands, the flowers bloomed with national pride and reminded everyone- as a garden flourishes with varied blossoms, so does our nation thrive in unity and diversity.

From 5th–8th August 2025, our talented Cambridge & IB delegates proudly represented KIS, Noida (IB & Cambridge) at the Ivy League Model United Nations (ILMUN), organised by the University of Pennsylvania in collaboration with Big Red Education at Chitkara University, Chandigarh! With 500+ delegates from 15 states, the competition was intense — yet our students made a mark on this prestigious platform! Kothari International School, Noida (IB & Cambridge) recently hosted an illuminating Kindness counts: Building a caring classroom session for Cambridge students of Grades 4 & 5. The resource person for this session was Ms. Vanya Chadha, Faculty of Psychology & School Counsellor (IB & Cambridge). The heart of the session was the Kindness Tree Leaf activity, wherein students wrote and shared acts of kindness, both within and outside the classroom. On 17 July 2025, Kothari International School, Noida (IB & Cambridge) hosted an informative CyberSmart: Protecting Your Digital Self workshop for our Cambridge students of Grades IGCSE1-A Level. This workshop, led by Ms. Manvee Bansal, an expert in this field, equipped students with practical skills to identify harmful links and phishing attempts, reinforcing caution and critical evaluation in digital communication. A hands‑on activity challenged them to assess the credibility of sample messages and links, an exercise that effectively translated theory into actionable insight. Overall, this interactive workshop made the learning experience both memorable and meaningful, leaving our students better prepared to navigate the digital world responsibly and safely.

On 14 July, 2025, Kothari International School, Noida (IB & Cambridge) hosted an enlightening Pause & Pilot: Navigating Emotions with Intention session for our Cambridge students of Grades LS1-LS3. The resource person for this session was Ms. Vanya Chadha, our Faculty of Psychology & School Counsellor (IB & Cambridge). During the session, the students were introduced to the concepts of Pause and Pilot which empowered them to recognise and intentionally respond to their emotions, fostering self-awareness and thoughtful decision-making. On October 18, 2024, Kothari International School Noida, in partnership with the Uttar Pradesh Fire Department, conducted an extensive fire drill for students in Grades 5 to 12. This vital exercise included testing fire extinguishers, practicing alarms, and executing a complete emergency evacuation. Fire Department officials provided invaluable education on essential safety precautions, including the correct use of smoke detectors and water hoses.
